Joe had the pleasure of working as editor on two new drum books, both of which are nominated as “Best Educational Product” in the 2016 Modern Drummer Readers Poll.
The first is Mark Guiliana’s Exploring Your Creativity on the Drumset, an engaging, challenging, and unique look at how to build an improvisational vocabulary as a drummer. This approach uses a system based on dynamics, rate, orchestration and phrasing. Check it out here:
